ITER, the International Fusion Energy Research Project, presented at DaratechPLANT 2007 and discussed PLM’s collaborative capabilities and the value of centrally controlling engineering content. ITER has used Dassault Systèmes' CATIA design authoring solution since the beginning of the project to define the "tokamak" – the heart of the ITER fusion machine – and design the surrounding structure and piping.
